NDP Election Panel with Ball, Housser, and Leichnitz

It’s an historic day here on The Herle Burly.

It’s the first episode in which we officially decouple The Herle Burly interview podcast from political panel. Why? Because The Political Panel with me, Jenni Byrne and Scott Reid now has its own show! It’s called “The Curse of Politics”. Get subscribed wherever you listen to your podcasts, and you can find it in your inbox every Tuesday.

But, like my heart, The Herle Burly interview podcast, will go on. We’ll be dropping a new episode every Wednesday! And for you laggards, we’ll still tack on “The Curse of Politics” political panel to the end of The Herle Burly for the first couple of weeks. Just until you’ve formed a new, disgusting (said with a wink) habit.

Alright, today, it’s The Herle Burly and we’ve got a beauty lined up for you. It’s our first ever 3-headed, NDP Election Panel! A basic primer on all the opportunities and threats Jagmeet and Team Orange have in front of them heading into the Federal Election.

Joining me today:

We have good friend of the show, Chris Ball. Chris is a long-time NDP campaign and communications strategist, and a trusted advisor to business and political leaders in this
country.

Jordan Leichnitz makes her triumphant return to The Herle Burly after only 4 weeks! Jordan is Canada Program Officer for the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung office in Washington, a social democratic institute. Before that, she worked in Senior Roles for the New Democratic Party of Canada, including Deputy Chief of Staff.

And we have Sally Housser making her debut on the pod. Sally is a former advisor to NDP leaders Jack Layton and Rachel Notley. And until last Friday she was the interim Chief of Staff to Ryan Meili, Saskatchewan NDP leader.
