Senator Hassan Yussuff + the Political Panel

Alright, it’s time for another Herle Burly 2-part pod!

Part 1 today is Senator Hassan Yussuff. Appointed as a Senator just 2 weeks ago, Mr. Yussuff is a 2-term past-president of the Canadian Labour Congress and the first person of colour to lead Canada’s union movement. He’s also a prominent international activist, having served 2 terms as President of the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas, representing 55 million workers in 21 countries. We’re going to talk about what it’ll take to help workers get ahead in the Canadian economy.

Part 2 of the pod is our ever-lovin’ Political Panel. Here to bring you laughs and put “the cuss in discuss is Jenni Byrne and Scott Reid. It’s a pre-election primer this week, Herle Burly-ites. The Liberals have been told to go on vacation in July, so gird yourselves for an August writ. The Conservatives are at shocking lows. The NDP are at their eternal 19 or 20. The Greens are trying to break on through single digits. And the Bloc are trying to stave off Liberal gains in the province. We’re going to spend this pod breaking down what all the parties need to be doing right now. And, as always, stick around for HEY YOU!
