Annamie Paul + the Political Panel with Jenni and Scott

Alright Herle Burly-ites, time for today’s pod. We’ve got another 2-parter for you today.

For Part 1, I’m so pleased to welcome Annamie Paul, Leader of Green Party of Canada. We’re going to find out a lot more about Annamie over the next hour or so, but she’s been involved in civic life since she was 12 years old, working as a page in the Ontario Legislature. She’s holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa and a Master in Public Affairs from Princeton University. Prior to being elected leader of the Greens this past October, Annamie founded the Canadian Centre for Political Leadership and worked in several Civic Engagement and International Affairs positions. We’re going to talk about her life, the electoral positioning and prospects for the Greens, and where she intends to take that party.

Part 2 of the podcast is our ever-lovin’, ever-hatin’, ever-opinionated Political Panel, with Jenni Byrne and Scott Reid. We have a lot to cover this week: from the politics of COVID lockdown to the insurrection south of the border, and from censorship to big tech.
